GENERAL RULES
Warrior Warz is a 1v1 distribution game designed for GK's both boys and girls of all ages.
Pitch Sizes, Goals & Ball Sizes - ALL AGE APPROPRIATE
A goal sits on each end-line.
Each GK must stay in their own half of the pitch and they are not allowed to cross the halfway line. If there is a rebound, the opposition GK can have a two touch finish (feet only) but only in their own half. GK's defends their own goal while trying to score in the oppositions goal, by throwing, volleying, or dead ball kicking into the goal.
Rock, Paper, Scissors will determine which GK will start the game.
Each GK has 6 seconds to take their next shot. They may take unlimited steps in their own half of the pitch. When a successful save is made, play continues immediately. A goal is scored only when the ball completely crosses the goal line.
Plenty of balls will be positioned in each goal.
Games are a 4-minute duration.
The winner is the GK, who has scored the most goals.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Points for games: 1) Winners: 3 pts 2) Draw: 1 pt
The initial round robin league, where every GK will play at least once against all GK's in their group.
In larger groups there will be quarter finals, in the smaller groups it will go straight to semi-finals then final.
During the knockout stages, if there is a draw:
a) A one-minute extra time will be played.
b) If the score remains tied, after this time, there will be a penalty shootout to determine the winner. (sudden death rules apply).
